Your Investment
Custom wedding invitation projects begin at $2,000, with most fully custom suites ranging
from $2,000–$7,000+. Your proposal reflects the quantity, original artwork, suite format, printing method,
and finishing details you choose. From illustrated maps and vellum wraps to wax seals and ribbon,
we’ll help you select the pieces that suit your celebration and budget.
Planning Your Suite
We recommend booking 10–12 months before your wedding, especially for destination celebrations or intricate designs. We accept a limited number of custom projects each year so every suite receives individual attention.
Initial sketches take approximately two weeks. Painting and design timing depends on your project, with printing beginning after final approval. Together, we’ll plan production and shipping around your mailing date.
Rush Orders
Working with a shorter timeline? Please share your wedding date and desired mailing date when you inquire.
We consider rush requests based on studio availability and project scope.
Additional fees may apply, and we will confirm timing and costs before work begins.
Copyright & Artwork Use
Watercolor Design Studio retains ownership of all original artwork. Clients are granted permission to use it for their wedding stationery and personal event materials.
Artwork Licensing
Using our artwork on additional pieces produced outside our studio may require a separate licensing fee, based on the artwork and intended use. Please contact us before arranging outside production.
Layered Photoshop files, editable source files, and working files for custom crests or original artwork are not provided.
Proof Approval
Please review all proofs carefully, including spelling, wording, names, dates, and addresses. Once you approve a proof for printing, Watercolor Design Studio is not responsible for errors included in that approved proof.
Payments
Required payments are due before each corresponding phase of work begins. Final production begins only after all required payments and approvals have been received.
Production & Timing
Your timeline reflects the project’s scope, artwork, approval schedule, and printing requirements. Delays in feedback, approvals, or requested information may affect production and delivery dates.
Printing & Color
Colors and artwork may appear slightly different on screen and in print. Minor variations between printers, papers, and production methods are normal.
Custom Work
Each project includes artwork and design created specifically for you. Payments for completed creative work are non-refundable.
