OUR CREATIVE PROCESS

Share Your Vision

Every beautiful invitation begins with a conversation.

Complete our wedding stationery questionnaire with your date, venue, style, and the pieces you're considering. Inspiration photos and Pinterest boards are welcome, but you don’t need to have everything figured out.

I’ll prepare a personalized proposal outlining your collection, printing options, and investment. We can also schedule a call to talk through your ideas. Your signed contract and initial payment reserve your place on my design calendar.

Your Vision Takes Shape

Your ideas become a design direction.

Together, we’ll explore your colors, artwork, and the details that will make your stationery personal—from a watercolor venue to a floral crest or illustrated map.

I’ll create an initial sketch showing how the elements will work together. You’ll review the concept and share your thoughts before we move into painting.

The Artwork Comes to Life

Original watercolor, painted just for you.

I’ll hand-paint your custom illustrations, then combine the artwork with thoughtfully chosen typography and layouts to create your invitation suite.

You’ll receive digital proofs and have the opportunity to make the refinements included in your collection. Every piece will be ready for your final approval before printing begins.

Printing & Finishing

Your designs become beautiful paper pieces.

Once you approve your final proofs, I’ll coordinate professional printing using the papers and printing methods selected for your collection.

From envelope liners and specialty shapes to ribbons and wax seals, the finishing details you’ve chosen will bring everything together. Any addressing or assembly services included in your proposal are completed during this stage.

The Final Details

Ready to share with your guests.

Before your collection ships, I’ll check the finished pieces and carefully package them for delivery. Your invitations are ready to introduce the celebration you’ve imagined.

When it’s time to plan your wedding-day details, we can carry your artwork into coordinating menus, programs, signage, and more—creating a beautiful connection from the first envelope to the final celebration.

A Few Things You Might Be Wondering

When should we begin designing our wedding invitations?

The sooner, the better, especially for custom artwork or specialty printing. This allows ample time for the design process without rush. Every wedding is unique, so once I know your date and desired pieces, I can help create a suitable timeline for your celebration.

What if I don't know exactly what I want?

No problem at all! Some couples have clear vision, while others just want something beautiful and personal. You don’t have to finalize every design choice upfront; I'm here to help you explore options and create a collection that suits you.

Can we begin with save-the-dates and design our invitations later?

Absolutely! Many couples do this, especially for destination weddings. We can establish the design direction early and refine the invitation suite as your details come together, allowing for a cohesive stationery collection.

Can we make changes or add pieces later?

Of course!

We can discuss additional enclosure cards, upgraded printing, specialty paper, envelope liners, ribbons, and coordinating wedding-day stationery as your plans evolve.

Any additions or upgrades that affect pricing will be quoted separately for your approval.

How long does the entire process take?

The timeline varies by project complexity, collection size, proofing, and printing choices. We'll create a schedule based on your wedding date and mailing needs. If your timeframe is tight, please mention it when you inquire so we can explore options.
