Hello there! I'm Susan, and I’m so glad you stopped by.

 

Watercolor Design Studio was founded nine years ago when my husband and I chose to leave New York. After spending 25 fast-paced years as an art director in the magazine industry, I felt it was time to slow down and relax—well, sort of. We eventually settled in beautiful Vero Beach, Florida, and launched this business.

 

I get to do what I love every day! I spend time with my family by the beach, watch true crime shows on repeat (they're always on in the background while I paint), and hang out with our two crazy Aussie doodles, Bonnie and Clyde. Most importantly, as a watercolor artist, I enjoy creating beautiful wedding invitations for my clients.

 

I couldn't do this alone, and I am grateful to have a group of smart, talented people on my team at WDS. We all share a love of unique design and create artwork tailored to our client's vision while bringing our design expertise to the table.
