Hello there! I'm Susan, and I’m so glad you stopped by.

 

Watercolor Design Studio began after more than 25 years of working as an art director in the magazine industry. When my husband and I left New York and settled in Vero Beach, Florida, I finally had the opportunity to build a studio around the work I love most: watercolor, illustration, and thoughtful design.

Today, I create original hand-painted wedding invitations, crests, venue paintings, maps, and coordinating stationery for couples who want something personal and truly one of a kind. My background in editorial design still shapes everything I do, from composition and typography to color, pacing, and the smallest finishing details.

When I’m not painting, I’m usually spending time with my family, near the beach, or with our two Aussie doodles, Bonnie and Clyde.

I’m also lucky to work with a talented team who help bring each project to life with the same care, creativity, and attention to detail.
