Here, There, Everywhere

When my husband and I got married we wanted to incorporate the fact that he was English and I was American. We did that by having a small ceremony at the U.N. Chapel in New York City and by a ten day honeymoon in both the U.S. Virgin Islands and the British Virgin Islands. It has been a wonderful memory for us both.

I love the fact that there are so many couples having destination weddings these days. Whether it is the entire wedding group traveling to a fab location in Sorrento, Italy or London, England or just a vacation wedding in the Caribbean or weekend closer to home, nothing can be more fun!

I’ve been to a week-long wedding in the Bahamas, where guests and bridal party combined the ceremony and honeymoon, as well as a beautiful weekend wedding at a charming manor house in Bantry, Ireland. Friends of mine had a second marriage wedding with their families on a cruise ship. Their invitation was, of course, nautical. Recently, I was part of a wedding at Four Seasons in DisneyWorld, Florida where guests flew in from as far as New Zealand. Needless to say, their wedding invitation was fun to create.

There are so many possibilities, and guests seem to love the idea of traveling, especially if given the right amount of time. We have done many custom save-the-dates and wedding invitations for as far away as Thailand. We enjoy doing the research and design for destinations. Our creativity is inspired by the various locations and look of a wedding theme.
